About Fortunato Brothers

In October of 1976, the Williamsburg section of Bklyn inherited a great gift, when 3 brothers from Italy decided to open a bakery that would sell authentic Italian pastries. Years later, Fortunato Bros. has become a neighborhood landmark, celebrated for it fine pastry, cookies, coffee, cakes, & gelato. Although Williamsburg has changed over the years, customers can count on Fortunato’s to be the same in quality, style and service. With the same original recipes pass down, Fortunato Bros. remains committed to serving the neighborhood and community with its fine products for many years to come. "Making your product with the best quality ingredients, better than your competition, you will find your customers buying from you, & not them...

Excellent local staple for generations. Staff can be friendlier - it's probably a NYC thing. Immaculate atmosphere for a small social gathering. Excellent bakery items - I had pistachio canoli.

Pre-ordered a tiramisu birthday cake and still had to wait an hour in line (on a Friday morning) only to be told they forgot my order and did not have my tiramisu. They gave me a display cake, misspelled the name (“marco” instead of “marcos”), and used an ugly neon green without asking. To add insult to injury, the cake was ordered under the name “Marcos” and the credit card used to pay for it also stated “Marcos.” Unfortunately, the attached photo showing poor penmanship, incorrect spelling, misaligned chocolate plate, and a giant smudge was how the tiramisu went into the box! With no time to pivot, we fed the tiramisu to our guests and it was so soggy our guests picked at their slices and we ended up throwing half of it away. If you’re looking for tiramisu, I highly recommend Whole Foods for a hassle-free, quality cake for less money. We only chose this place hoping for a more “artisanal” bakery experience for our special event and it was not worth the gamble.

Giving 2 stars for the atmosphere and cute local bakery; however, i’ve tried at least 6-7 things from here and they are never good. I have a huge sweet tooth and i always throw them away. Got these 2 cakes today and they are almost inedible, taste like soap or plastic. Sorry Fortunado Bros but gave yall a few chances and the desserts are very below average.

I stopped there to buy me a tiramisu but they didn't have any So my daughter decided to try this little peach dessert which wasn't too bad. I kind of liked it but She didn't like it much because she thought it had moose cake inside.

A true neighborhood spot in a quiet corner open late. After eating various pizza slices in Williamsburg, a lil seeet treat with some coffee was in order. Definitely neighborhood vibes…people inside have been coming here for years, grew up in the area or were like me, transplant wandering in for something sweet. We came specifically for cannolis and coffee. We threw in a rainbow cookie and a pastry filled with delicious cream. I have never been a huge fan of cannolis, however this one was good…I still wasn’t a die-hard fan but it was a good cannoli. Loved the rainbow cookie and whatever that other pastry was that was crunch, had Nutella and strawberry with light cream. Delicious iced coffee and friendly service.
